THE CINELLI BROTHERS

Vintage soul, modern energy and fearless musicianship: The Cinelli Brothers have become one of Europe’s most exciting live acts.

Formed in London by brothers Marco and Ale Cinelli, the band has built a distinctive sound shaped by vintage soul, electric rhythm & blues, rock’n’roll, gospel and the warmth of classic analogue recordings — fused with the energy and attitude of a modern live act.

Their music is raw, soulful and cinematic: groove-driven songs, powerful vocal harmonies, roaring guitars, harmonica, deep-pocket rhythms and an unmistakable live chemistry that moves effortlessly between intimate storytelling and explosive stage energy.

Alongside Marco and Alessandro,
Tom Julian-Jones and Jorma complete the line-up, forming a rare kind of modern band: four multi-instrumentalists constantly exchanging instruments, lead vocals and musical roles on stage. Guitars become drums, bass turns into harmonica, frontmen become sidemen and back again — creating performances that feel spontaneous, unpredictable and completely alive.

Since the release of their debut album
Babe Please Set Your Alarm in 2018, The Cinelli Brothers have developed a reputation for records made with character and live shows built on pure connection. Their breakthrough album Villa Jukejoint, recorded at home using a minimalist analogue approach, established the band as one of the most exciting acts on the European roots circuit. Later releases expanded their sound even further, blending vintage influences with a broader, more contemporary vision.

Almost Exactly…The Cinelli Brothers (2024) marked another major step forward, receiving outstanding reviews and strong international radio support. The album was launched with a special sold-out show at New York City’s iconic Cutting Room, further cementing the band’s growing international reputation.

The release of Out There On My Own featuring Laura Evans received national airplay on BBC Radio for two consecutive weeks, further expanding the band’s reach to new audiences. Their latest live album,LIVE Here and There, has also been making a strong impact across the UK and international markets, capturing the raw energy and spontaneity of the band’s live experience across 270 shows UK and EU in a single year.

In 2023, the band reached the finals of the
International Blues Challenge in Memphis, USA, bringing their music to international attention and helping grow a rapidly expanding audience across the UK, Europe and North America.

Recent singles including
Dark Side of the Road and Unsingable Song mark a bold new chapter for the band — one that embraces modern groove, crossover songwriting and widescreen production while remaining deeply rooted in feel, musicianship and authenticity. Unsingable Song reached the Top 10 of the Music Week Commercial Pop Club Chart, signalling the band’s growing reach far beyond genre boundaries.

At the centre of it all is the live show: the pure Cinelli experience. Explosive, emotional, warm and deeply human, it has created an international community of fans and superfans who travel across countries to be part of it.

In a world of algorithms and categories, The Cinelli Brothers are building something real.
