Moving Under A Lucky Star

The first ever release that is not self-produced is out for sale now.

It includes songs from the crowdfunded album recorded in Woodstock. This edition of the EP has been presented for the first time in CD format at the Bonamassa’s cruise.

Thank you for buying this EP! You are definitely one of the first to listen to our new songs.

Since you’ve made until here we might as well tell you a little bit more about this record. A little bit of background and behind the scenes.

it was January 2023 when we, returning victorious from the 2nd place winner in Memphis for the IBC, met producer Rich Pagano in NYC.

It wouldn’t take long to realise how great a collaboration together could have been. We started already to plan our comeback to record few songs under his direction. He recommended a studio in Woodstock, the Applehead. Before he could tell us what gear was there we already had booked our session in March. It was happening.

So there we went. We had some money to finance the whole trip, thanks to the successful crowdfunding campaign that we lunched the previous December. We were in condition to focus on the music and to enjoy it in full.

The first days we would record a whole bunch of new songs, so we would get the energy flowing and the studio rhythm on the right gear. Rich came on day 4 and stayed with us for 5 days. One song per day. From scratch to finished product.

What you are listening to right now is nothing else than the five songs produced and mixed by Rich Pagano.

We decided to print an EP and start selling it to the lucky people who could see us live. The first appearance of the record on the merch store is just at the Keeping the Blues Alive At See Mediterranean, the famous blues cruise hosted by Joe Bonamassa.

The rest of the album is in the process of being concluded. There are still some special overdubs to be done, and we are referring to all the kind donors who contributed with some serious funds in exchange of a performance on the record.

Ah, speaking of which, that sweet voice you can hear in the chorus of Lucky Star is Chiara Carrubba, a lovely girl who just participated to the crowdfunding asking to record some vocals in the album. There you go, it can’t really get better than this, can it?
